"For many years, I have contracted Workz4U Conference Management Limited to manage multi-day Starship annual training courses for which I am Course Director. These courses provide training for paediatricians and advanced trainees in paediatrics, and are recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as meeting their requirements for accreditation in child protection. The first course, in March each year, is “Assessment of Suspected Sexual Abuse in Children and Adolescents” (ASAC). This course is one of the requirements for accreditation to provide sexual assault treatment services to children and adolescents in New Zealand. The second course, in August each year, is “Assessment of Suspected Physical Abuse in Children and Adolescents” (APAC). Each course is attended by 60 or more registrants from across New Zealand, Australia and further afield. The most recent courses were delivered in August 2024 (APAC), March 2025 and August 2025 (APAC again).
Workz4U Conference Management Limited have managed these courses superbly, despite their increasing complexity and the sensitivity of the subject matter. Registrants are now able to attend both courses either in person or virtually (online), and this includes interactive sessions involving multiple rooms simultaneously, where registrants are working with actors in simulated scenarios with families, and in “Reality Court” with lawyers from the two Crown Prosecution services in Auckland. Workz4U Conference Management Limited are highly organised, efficient, stay within budget and are always responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with.
